DATA WE COLLECT
Prompt text
The AI prompts you send through Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and other supported tools. Stored for 30 days, then deleted. Never shared with third parties.
Commit metadata
Commit SHA, files changed, branch name, author email. Retained for 1 year. Used to link prompts to code changes.
Tool usage
Which AI coding tools you use (Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, Aider, Copilot, etc.) and rough session timing. No keystrokes, no file contents beyond what you capture.
Account info
Your email address and organization. Provided at signup via Clerk.
Session token
We store a session token in your browser's
localStorage under the key prompture_token to keep you authenticated between page loads. This token is not shared with third parties.HOW WE USE IT
Prompt-to-commit linking
Our core feature. We match prompt text to git commits to show which AI work produced which code.
Team analytics
Aggregate cost attribution and tool-usage breakdowns across your org. Individual prompt content is never visible to other team members.
Coaching insights
Pattern analysis on your prompt style and commit quality, surfaced on the Coach page. Powered by Gemini. We do not use your prompts to train any model.

Access
Export all your org's data:
GET /v1/orgs/:id/export. Returns JSON covering prompts, matches, and metadata within the retention window.Deletion
Email [email protected]with “Delete my account” in the subject line. We will purge all data within 72 hours and send confirmation.
Portability
The export endpoint above returns standard JSON. No proprietary formats.
