Terms of Service
By using Prompture you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and readable.
Prompture is an AI governance and audit platform. It captures AI coding prompts, links them to git commits, and surfaces cost attribution, tool usage, and compliance documentation for engineering teams. The CLI runs on your machine; the dashboard runs on our servers (or yours, with on-prem).
You may use Prompture for any legitimate software development work.
You may not:
- Scrape or crawl the Prompture platform or API for data not belonging to your org.
- Use captures, analytics, or exports to train competing AI coding tools or models.
- Resell access to Prompture without a written partnership agreement.
- Attempt to access another organization's data.
- Use the service to store or transmit illegal content.
You own your data. We are a processor, not a controller, for the prompts and commit metadata you send us. We process it to provide the service you asked for. We do not mine your data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train models. See the Privacy Policy for retention schedules and your export/deletion rights.
We target 99.9% uptime for the dashboard and API. Planned maintenance windows are announced 24 hours in advance on our status page. The CLI captures locally and queues pushes — if the API is down, your data is not lost.
Prompture is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and both parties consent to jurisdiction there.
We may update these terms. Material changes get 30 days email notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
